Hi Reader We have added two chasers to our eye catchers list this week. Both ran last weekend at Sandown on testing ground. They look like horses that will be winning sooner than later! Check out eye catchers for this week below:
View Eye Catchers List Here Unanswered PrayersUnanswered Prayers - 3rd in 3.35 Sandown 07/12/24The ground went against Unanswered Prayers in the Betfair Exchange London National Chase at Sandown over 3m 4f. He won at Fontwell the time before over 3m 3f on good ground off a mark of 126. The handicapper has raised him to a mark of 130 but as long as he has decent ground he could well pick up another handicap Chase over the winter. I would say he wouldn’t want much further than 3m 3f and he will be interesting when going into veteran races in 13 months time. Welcom To CartriesWelcom To Cartries - 4th in 2.33 Sandown 06/12/24Welcom To Cartries was making his Chasing debut for Paul Nicholls at Sandown in a hot little Novices race. He finished fourth of the five runners but travelled and jumped well and looked like he just needed the run after a 230 days break. He is going to be a better chaser than he was a hurdler and I would expect him to take a significant step forward on his next start. He won his Irish point for Donnchadh Doyle and I know they liked him over there as well. Put him in the tracker..
